Journal Article – ‘Ascorbic acid supplementation improves postprandial glycaemic control and blood pressure in individuals with type 2 diabetes: Findings of a randomized cross‐over trial. Diabetes, Obesity and Metabolism.’
Presented by Mary Bushell. Dr Mary Bushell is a practicing pharmacist and senior lecturer at the University of Canberra. Since 2011, Mary delivered 32 university units, teaching pharmacy, nursing and allied health students. Mary is a peer reviewer for several national and international journals and current edition textbooks. Mary has over thirty recent publications and is regularly invited to speak at conferences and deliver education sessions both in Australia and abroad. Mary is committed to researching and advocating for equity of access to health care, particularly for the most vulnerable and socioeconomically disadvantaged. Mary has a research interest in vaccinations and the public health benefits they generate. Mary is passionate about evidence-based medicine and ensuring pharmacists have a seat at the table when discussing future health policy.
