The PSA immunisation practical refresher workshop for pharmacists will provide participants with an update on the management of anaphylaxis, techniques for injection, and the appropriate preparation of vaccines for administration. Who should enrol? This workshop is an opportunity for participants to refresh their competency in the following areas: » identifying and treating emergencies such as anaphylaxsis » preparation of vaccines for administration » preparation and practical aspects of intramuscular and subcutaneous vaccinations. The workshop includes theory, discussion, demonstration, guided practice, and assessment in delivering immunisation via injections. You will receive 5 Group 2 CPD credits upon successful completion of this workshop Participants should have completed Manage the delivery and administration of injections and immunisations APPIMM806A or other approved course for pharmacist immunisers.
