Downloaded to sit on your hard drive from a DVD eMIMS Classic can be installed on a network or single PC/laptop. You will be provided with a license key, which will activate your subscription and a DVD in April, September, and December. Monthly updates need to be manually downloaded from the MIMS website and installed for months other than when you receive a DVD.

The IMgateway interactions checker, is an optional additional module available on eMIMS. IMgateway, owned and developed by UnityHealth, disseminates quality information, research and education on evidence-based complementary and conventional medicine. IMgateway currently houses over 1,450 herb/supplement/food-drug interactions. The interactions database is developed in collaboration with reputable institutions such as the University of Sydney, School of Pharmacy and the National Institute of Complementary Medicine.
