Pharmacy Practice Forum: Legal and Ethical Dilemmas

As pharmacists we are often confronted by practice situations that will leave us feeling unsure of our legal obligations and ethical positions. This special event will give pharmacists, interns and students the opportunity to discuss a range of controversial issues affecting our everyday pharmacy practice including topics with complex considerations where pharmacists may be less informed about, such as advertising breaches and social media conduct implications for pharmacists and pharmacy businesses; Privacy issues in lieu of the implementation of My Health Records; The Australian Consumer Law covering refunds and consumer rights in the retail setting. There will be case scenarios, panel discussions and audience engagement through polling questions and Q&A in what will be an interactive experience.
